Robert Fitzgerald was the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Continental Communities LLC; a company he helped establish in 1997. Continental Communities has expanded to be a leading owner, operator, and manager of manufactured housing communities and RV resorts under his leadership. With a career spanning several decades, Robert has been instrumental in driving the company’s strategic vision and operational excellence.

Before co-founding Continental Communities, Robert was employed by Capital Development Corporation (now Capital First Realty) since 1985, where he gained extensive experience in managing quality manufactured home communities.

After the success of Continental Communities, Robert and Karen were passionate about giving back to their community. Together they started the Fitzgerald Family Foundation.  Robert serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Fitzgerald Family Foundation. In this capacity, he oversees the foundation’s philanthropic efforts, which focus on supporting various charitable causes and initiatives aimed at improving community well-being.
